- This is a great book with a wonderful message and enticing illustrations, and a glossary of Swahili words and the recipe for githeri at the back of the book! We had never heard of githeri before reading this, and now we can't wait to try it. These books work well for any age, 3 and up. My son is 11 and still loves all the books in this series. They're some of the only picture books he continues to read! We highly recommend this.
- Five stars for positive reading for me and my children. Shows children how to resolve negative experiences with their peers into positive. I also like the recipe for the dish listed and the Swahili to English dictionary.
